These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Bible Nighttime Stories (“the app”), made by Faro.io Corp (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. The app is intended to be downloaded and managed by a parent or guardian.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Bible Nighttime Stories for private, non-commercial, family use on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms conflict with Apple’s standard EULA, the standard EULA controls for matters Apple requires.
2. Purchase and Refunds
Bible Nighttime Stories is a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. Apple handles all payment, billing, and refunds under Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions. We do not process payments and cannot issue refunds directly — refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
3. The Content
The stories in this app are original works inspired by stories and themes from the Bible, retold gently for young children, each followed by a short prayer. They are intended for comfort, encouragement, and bedtime listening. They are not a substitute for a Bible, religious instruction, or pastoral guidance, and they reflect a warm, family-friendly interpretation rather than any single doctrine or denomination.
4. Acceptable Use
Please don’t reverse engineer, decompile, copy, redistribute, or resell the app or its audio and text content, and don’t use it in any way that violates applicable law or Apple’s App Store terms. The stories and recordings are protected by copyright and are for your family’s personal use.
5. Updates and Availability
We may update, add to, modify, or discontinue the app or any of its content at any time without notice. Updates may be required for continued use.
6. No Warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Faro.io Corp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the app. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
